You will spend a multitude of hours planning your wedding - picking out the dress, the cake, the location, the food and so many other details. Finally the day comes and you are overwhelmed and often in a whirlwind. The dress is packed away, the cake is gone, and your wedded life begins in earnest. The things that last, that return you to your special day time and again, are the photographs. They are not simply the evidence of a day in your life, rather they are the heirlooms that will be passed down to your children, your grandchildren. They are an investment.

I do not simply "snap" shots or even "take" pictures. I make photographs by carefully composing shots, then use my extensive background in darkroom and digital printing to provide you with final images that are finely crafted pieces of art.  

I have worked, taught, and exhibited my fine art widely including winning the 2002 International Art Competition in Soho, NY and an Honorable Mention at the International Photography competition in Los Angeles, CA. I was Associate Professor of Photography at Winston-Salem State University for 5 years and have continued with private instruction since that time. Shooting weddings and portraits has taken me all over North Carolina, Virginia, Tennessee, and South Carolina.

I live in Greensboro, NC with my husband, Adam, and our 11 year old, Jobe (a.k.a. "The Boy") and our baby, Thatcher (a.k.a. "That Boy").  I love my life.  I love what I do.
