Joy has great local vendor connections who are willing to travel (my invitations, flowers, linens and hair/makeup were all Joy's personal referrals and wonderful to work with). She has a friendly, energetic attitude and was very accomodating with my work schedule regarding times of phone calls and meetings during the day near the office. She is a great listener with good instincts and attention to detail. On my wedding day, I turned everything over (which is not easy for me to do) and trusted her completely to "sweat the small stuff" as I enjoyed the day.

When my wife and I think about our wedding, we both agree that we wouldn't have changed nearly anything. Joy can take most of the credit for our wedding turning out so wonderful.

Joy was a lifesaver for me! I contacted her when I realized I was in over my head with all the planning and details. She really got me organized and on track right away. The best thing was the month by month timeline that had every little detail included. I didn't have to worry about missing or forgetting anything- it was all on the timeline. I met with her on a regular basis to review the timeline to make sure I was on track. She was always available to meet with vendors and help with important decisions as I valued her expertise. My wedding was destination and she visited the venue several times to make sure we had every detail taken care of. On the big day- I didn't have to worry about a thing! Joy was there keeping everything going on time and it allowed me to enjoy the day. I can't imagine how things would have went without her. I highly recommend her to anyone planning a wedding. We had weddings for two of our daughters within four months of each other. One was a destination weekend long event, and the other on a cruise boat on the Potomac. With Joy's help, both weddings went off without a hitch. I could not imagine trying to keep everything organized and on schedule without her! I would give her ten stars if I could. She was a blessing to our family. I would highly recommend her wedding planning services to anyone.

She used her expertise to tailor our wedding to be exactly what we were looking for, and took care of all the logistics and details so that we could enjoy the moments of our wedding day carefree.Prior to being married, I didn't realize how much went into planning an event as elaborate as a marriage ceremony and reception and am so thankful we had the guidance of a veteran. At first I thought we could handle all the decisions and details, but in retrospect, we would have been lost without her. Joy saved us serious time, effort and stress.
