Erin is the only person that I would have trusted with planning our wedding. She is fantastic!! No matter what crazy question I had or little detail I was worried about, she was on top of it. She always returned calls and emails from not only me but my mom as well. Erin, is not only a great planner but a great person that makes you feel calm and at ease on a hectic day that I would have been worried about if it was not for her. She knows so many vendors and works so well with all of the vendors we chose for our wedding. Not only did we think she was the "best" to work with, so did our vendors! On the day of the wedding everything went off without a hitch. Everything was timed perfectly and was so well planned. People continue to talk about it and tell us how wonderful everything was and I have Erin to thank for her guidance through it all. Erin is an amazing planner and I would rate her much higher than a 5 if that was an option. I can't thank her enough for all she did and I will always remember how she made my wedding the most wonderful day of my life. THANK YOU ERIN!!!!!

I could never have imagined my wedding day being pulled off so perfectly! Erin made my wedding day a breeze. I did a destination wedding and her and I never met until the rehearsal dinner where I then handed off all of my decorations and ideas which are by no means in any organizational manner. I just gave Erin a run down on how I would like things to go for the following day and she went above and beyond. I never thought of several decorative ideas and she just made it extremely easy and carefree for me. Erin was very prompt and professional all of the time. We communicated through email and I would send her a question and immediately get a response with vendor recommendations or decoration ideas. Erin was honestly more than I could have hoped for as a wedding planner and definitely worth the price!!!

When we started our wedding planning process, we weren't sure if we would hire a wedding planner or not. After our first meeting with Erin, we were convinced that we needed one and we have not regretted that decision! She is so open and warm, we felt that we could talk to her about any of our wedding stresses. She was also very committed to making our wedding ceremony and reception a beautiful, fun event for everyone. We knew that our parents would be stressed out about hosting the event, but with Erin, they were able to relax and just have a good time. We hired Erin for only the day-of planning, but that required a lot more than we thought! She came with us to meet the caterer and out to the venue, and figure out all the scheduling and location kinks. She came out to the rehearsal dinner to finalize all the plans, and she stayed at the reception until the last song played!During the wedding, Erin was incredibly professional and actually, she ran around the whole time! From arranging flowers to making sure we were on schedule for everything to getting the desserts out (and a million other things), she was truly worth the investment.Wedding planning is not the most relaxing thing in the world, and the wedding day goes by so quickly and there are so many things to think about.... Erin took the stress off of us on the day-of and made everything run smoothly. We highly recommend her!

I can't say enough about Erin McLean! What a fantastic job she did for us in May! We live in New Jersey and our wedding was in Chapel Hill so a "destination" wedding is a little tougher to plan. She always was on the ball whenever I had questions, giving great advice along the way. On our big day, Erin was EVERYWHERE and it put our minds at ease, to say the least. Her costs were comparatively low and we welcomed this, but I think she was actually worth so much more. A wedding planner is something I could never be. It takes a special kind of person who is well-organized, friendly, smart and a pleasure to be around. Erin was all those things and so much more for us. I would recommend her to anyone!

Erin was truly a blessing to us. When my future father-in-law was diagnosed with a malignant, aggressive brain tumor, my fiance and I decided to move our wedding back from September to May, which gave us about 4 months to plan. Since I had been told that most people take about a year to plan a wedding, we were not expecting to be able to arrange anything very spectacular--we were just hoping to throw something together in time. A good friend of mine was getting married in October, and she told me that hiring Erin was the best decision she could have made. I didn't expect Erin to be able to help us because of all the uncertainty involved in planning our wedding, not to mention the short notice. However, Erin was totally up to it, and she actually accomplished more than either my husband or I had dared to dream. She captured my vision for the wedding theme and expanded it in a way I did not think was possible. We were very pleased with every last vendor that she chose, and throughout the whole process Erin continued to relieve our stress and calm our hearts. She helped us navigate the ins and outs of the wedding market and she more than paid for herself through the discounts she was able to negotiate with various vendors. On our wedding day we were totally captivated by the way Erin brought everything together so smoothly and beautifully. We have had constant compliments from our guests about how organized and gorgeous the wedding was. My husband and I were not stressed or nervous at all on our wedding day--we were able to relax and enjoy everything around us because we knew that Erin was taking care of all the details, and she was attentive to EVERY detail. Thank you Erin for putting together a magical, unforgettable wedding beyond our wildest hopes and dreams! You were a pleasure to work with, and we will always recommend you to everyone we know! You truly were a gift from God to us! Thank you so much!

I was extremely pleased with Erin's work. I actually had to convince my groom that a wedding coordinator would be worth the money, he was a little skeptical of hiring one. He didn't think it was necessary. After the wedding he thanked me a million times for hiring her. We didn't have to worry about a thing, she took care of it all...She is GREAT!

My fiancé and I debated about whether or not to hire a wedding coordinator. We both went back and forth about whether the expenditure would be a necessary one, and if we could really afford it. Our budget was really tight, but knowing this we set up an appointment to meet Erin. As soon as we met Erin, we knew she would be an amazing vendor to work with. Her personality meshed really well with ours (which was important to me) and the “bang for your buck” was incomparable (which was important to him). Erin went above and beyond for us in a way that spoke volumes about her and passion for what she does. It became clear, very quickly, that she takes an immense amount of pride in what she does. She will ensure that you have all of the necessary information in order to make the important decisions and she does a great job of gauging what you are comfortable with. She was patient with us with all of our questions and offered great advice at every turn. We had no idea what we were doing, or what things were typically done, and Erin’s expertise proved necessary to making the right decisions for our budget. Erin really is the “insurance plan” for your wedding. She will do whatever it takes to make sure things go smoothly. If I could do it all over again, I would choose Erin every time. Both my fiancé and I agreed that she was one of the best vendors we worked with. I really could not have done it without her. For your sake, and for your peace of mind on the big day... do yourself a favor... contact Erin!

When I started planning my wedding I knew that I needed some help on the day-of. I hired Erin because she was professional and personable over the phone and her fee was very reasonable. Erin went above and beyond. She met with us a few days before the wedding to take care of any last minute details, and she thought of everything--so I didn't have to. We loaded up her car with place cards, favors, etc. and she took care of it all, and at the end of our reception she packed everything up and delivered it to my in-law's the next morning. Erin was practically invisible during our event, and yet she was always right there when something was needed. I don't know how she does it! I would absolutely recommend Erin for anyone who needs help planning and running an event.

Erin did amazing weekend coordination for our wedding. It was really incredible. Most of my family just calls her 'the angel' now. Honestly, I don't know how we would have done it without her! She was just what we needed. She anticipated problems, was cool and calm at all times and was a great support. A few things went wrong and I didn't even know about them until I was back from my honeymoon. Because of Erin we were just able to enjoy our day. We really can't say enough, I could go on and on! We have given her name to many people already and I happily tell them it was the best money I have ever spent in my life!!

EXCERPT FROM THE THANK-YOU EMAIL WE SENT TO ERIN:In any case, we just wanted to take a moment to thank you again for all of your help over our wedding weekend.  I've said to multiple people that hiring you was the best money we spent on the whole wedding!  Knowing that we had you to offer guidance, field phone calls, and manage crises took such a load off of me, Matt, and our families, allowing us to relax (as much as we could) and enjoy our big day.One moment in particular encapsulates the value you added to our weekend:  I remember calling you on Friday night, to talk through all of the decor items we'd left in Rigsbee Hall for you to set up.  I had about 2397528626128750949 other things to do, but I felt like I needed to take some time to make sure you understood the multiple boxes of vases, candles, plates, cake stands, and the like that you were going to find the next day.  Well, you said to me, "Oh, I remember what you want.  I think I can do it without a special meeting...and, if I get there and it doesn't make complete sense, I'll just work with what I can find and make it look pretty."  Those words (essentially, "I can handle this; don't worry about it") were such a treat, when everyone else (even those people trying to help--heck, perhaps especially those trying to help) was asking us question after question, looking to me and Matt for specific guidance and instruction, when we all we wanted to say was, "You handle it".  Being able to turn some of that decision-making responsibility over to you was tremendous.  Thank you so much.Thank you also for being such a patient and knowledgeable teacher to us wedding rookies.  Your help with our rehearsal lead to a beautiful ceremony, and I don't think we could have done it without you.  Also, thanks so much for rescuing us when we didn't have a check for the caterer or tips for the waiters.  Turning that mistake over to you and being able to say, "Erin, please fix this", again, was amazing.  We joke that were like our wedding fairy godmother :)  In any case, we were so lucky to have found you.

Erin is a friend of mine that I met at work and she is an absolute bundle of joy. Throughout the whole planning process she helped me with tips, advice, and vendor recommendations. She knows a ton about weddings, and has lots of experience in North Carolina as she recently had her own wedding in Raleigh. Erin was our day-of-coordinator, and I don't know what we would have done without her help. She made everything run so smoothly and helped us with everything throughout the day so that we could really just focus on our guests and have fun. Erin is one of the friendliest, funniest, and most responsible people I know, and she is a great wedding coordinator.

We were very pleased with Erin's help. She was friendly, professional, fun, and best of all, calming. I'm pretty sure our wedding would have been hugely stressful without her, and with her there, I was really able to relax. She came to the reception site the day before the wedding while we were decorating because it made my mom more comfortable to have her on hand, even though it was a long extra drive for her, and her presence really helped keep things calmer and more organized while we were setting up. The amount of work she provided for what she charged was a very good value compared to other day-of coordinators we spoke with. Our only (small) concern, and one that I think she could easily remedy, is that while she definitely had a mental checklist for our meetings, it didn't seem completely exhaustive, so there was a little stress on my part trying to think of things we needed to tell her about our plans, and a few things that I didn't think to tell her because I had never planned and gone through a wedding day before. One was just that we were not going to save the top of the cake, which it had just not occurred to me to bring up. But as soon as we all realized that was one reason we were short on cake at the reception, Erin jumped into action, and the top was cut and out in a few minutes. She dealt with all other small snags just as quickly and efficiently and somehow managed to coordinate the wedding itself when our church coordinator couldn't make it, AND a reception that was going to start an hour afterward. She was inventive but also flexible and a good listener when we had to rearrange the reception schedule because of rain and a sliding cake, and she really helped us feel like those things weren't a big deal. Once she helped us rearrange the timeline, they weren't a big deal at all. All the other vendors loved her and worked well with her. She was diplomatic but honest when she gave suggestions about our decorating ideas, and she has a good eye for setting up a reception space. I would say that if she added a more formal and exhaustive checklist to go through at the meetings, just for that little bit of extra peace of mind in the weeks before the wedding, you probably couldn't do better in finding a wedding coordinator.
