Emerald Isle Realty...A Seaside Wedding & Events

They came in a timely fashion to deliver and pickup rental equipment. They were very friendly and easy to communicate where i wanted the items to be placed on the beach. I would recommend them to you if you are looking for wedding rental equipment they did a great job and my wedding looked beautiful!

Heidi was awesome. She made my wedding stress free. I planned from Chicago and she was able to take my requests & help me find the best vendors to make it happen. She helped me find the perfect house for the wedding, a great place for the rehearsal dinner & even got rid of the beach combers who set up next to our arbor.

Heidi Barlow and Krystal Bequtte were amazing. We used services from Emerald Isle Realty and Island Essentials. All of our wedding equipment came from Island Issentials and we were very pleased with it. The wedding venue was gorgeous and the set up could not have been more perfect for us. The ladies who provided all of the services for us were very professional and always had great ideas and willing to help us make our day perfect.

The yard and beach of this home provided a great place for the wedding ceremony and reception. The covered patio and garden were an added plus. The negative to this property was that the kitchen was on the top floor and the house itself was cluttered with personal things from the owner and is in need of a "sprucing" up with fresh paint, wallpaper, etc. Emerald Isle Realty provided event personnel who were very friendly and helpful. The interaction with the company was professional. I do however have a major complaint. When we rented the house, we were told that there was ample parking along the street for our guests; there were even signs in the garage to designate parking. Subsequently the town of Pine Knoll Shores passed a "no parking" on the street ordinance. Emerald Isle Realty personnel NEVER informed us of the change and I only found out because I called the Police Department myself. This change caused us to incur a $500 charge for a shuttle bus service to and from the hotel - which we were very lucky to get at the last minute (ony because of a cancellation due to Hurricane Irene damage at the Sheraton). Emerald Isle Realty made NO concession for this change in the agreed upon terms of the rental which disappointed me.

Heidi and her assistant were more helpful than i expected and took care of every need I had and even the ones I could not think of the day of the wedding. Everything went smoothly and was taken care of in a professional manner. Would definately recommmend Emerald Isle Realty and Heidi!

We rented "Boat House" thru Emerald Isle Realty for our wedding, and we couldn't be happier that we did!!! We got married on the Ocean and had the reception at Boat House. It is an ideal setting for a wedding reception. The big lawn was a great place for the tables, the pool deck worked out so well for cocktail hour and the poolside patio was the perfect place for the DJ and dance floor. The house is BEAUTIFUL! It is well appointed, well stocked and gorgeous. Everyone fell in love with it! We look forward to renting it out again sometime. The wedding coordinator from Emerald Isle realty did a nice job.

We rented Champagne Bay, a soundfront home, for our wedding on Emerald Isle. The house was beautiful, and Heidi Barlow with EI Realty was great to work with. We were a little upset that EIR called the house on wedding day to ask how many guests we were having an hour before the ceremony, but our wedding planner took care of everything for us. And, the homeowners at this home were a bit difficult, but overall it was a beautiful place for a wedding!

We rented the Anna Victoria house through Emerald Isle Realty for our wedding, and we absolutely loved it! EI Realty was very helpful through the whole process, and their staff was always available when we had questions. We will definitely use them again in the future.

Frank and I enjoyed working with Heidi Barlow throughout our months of planning. She was always available for suggestions and a joy to meet with each time we visited the Emerald isle area. On the event date, she was beyond helpful, as was her assistant, Katie. I look forward to staying in contact for when we visit Emerald Isle again! Thank you Heidi!

We fell in love with The Boat House and knew immediately that it was the place where we would be married. The staff at Emerald Isle Realty were very attentive, professional, and pleasant through all the planning. It is a beautiful location that will take your (and your guests') breath away and leave treasured memories for years to come. My husband and I don't for a second regret booking The Boat House for our wedding and reception!

I really enjoyed working with Emerald Isle Realty because of Heidi! She found us the perfect reception site and she ALWAYS responded to my emails right away. We are very thankful that we had jer running the show for us on our wedding day!

Heidi Barlow from Emerald Isle Realty was a joy to work with. She always responded quickly to emails and was very accomodating. On the actual wedding day, she was in control the entire day, yet out of sight. She let everything be on my scheduel. It was such a wonderful experience!

We had a beach wedding which turned out beautifully. We had it out in front of the house we rented for the bride and her family. The house was great and we had many of options to choose from. They weren't real quick in responding to phone calls and emails. We enjoy talking to a person and that was a little hard with them but overall it was alright.

Amanda and her associates helped us to book the wedding house and find the perfect house for the groom's family to stay in as well. All of our relatives who came out have already started to book their next vacation, as they work with you to accomodate all your needs! We even had an elevator for the elderly relatives to enjoy the pool and all the floors in the house. It also really helped with bringing in the food for the reception and the dj equipment!

The budget and flexibility are only ranked above average because its a beach wedding so its going to be a little more expensive, but if you choose like us, you can have the entire wedding party stay in the house the entire week before the wedding! And flexibility is great if you don't have animals to worry about - and make sure you start planning a year out because they book up early and book up quickly! There was a chance for rain on my wedding date and they had everything ready to go in case that happened, but luckily it didn't! I definitely would use them again for another event!

We had the most beautiful wedding that I could possibly imagine in Emerald Isle, thanks in great part to the staff at Emerald Isle Realty, especially Heidi Barlow - wedding planner extraordinaire! Planning a destination wedding to NC was not easy, but Heidi made it all possibly. On the day of the wedding, Heidi had everything running like clockwork and I didn't feel like I had to worry about a single thing. She did everything from running the rehearsal to helping make starfish decorations for our getaway car. We had the ceremony right on the beach, and then the reception at a beautiful house called the Boat House which had a gorgeous sound-side location and was a great spot to watch the sunset during the reception. It was absolutely perfect!
