DI claims they are Raleigh's best kept secret, and I'd have to agree. The banquet hall is beautiful, huge and makes for the perfect reception setting. It turned out to make for a great ceremony setting too because the sky opened up 30 minutes before my wedding and torrential rain kept us inside. We did get some great photos done outside in the beautiful gardens before the ceremony, but Anne Casper and her staff worked so hard to make sure my ceremony would still go off without a hitch. With 40 minutes to go before start time, they created a beautiful setting inside for me and my husband to be married in. Anne, the owner, really does care about your wedding and that you're happy. It's too bad she didn't have some magical spell to keep the sun shining that day, but regardless, my wedding was beautiful.

We would like to personally thank the owner's, Anne and Richard Caspar and the entire staff for all of their hard work, patience, honesty, and kindness throughout this year as we planned the wedding of our dreams. Their were so many bumps in the road, but Anne and her staff made us always feel calm and relaxed and solved every minor and major detail. When the weather called for rain on the day of our wedding which was to be held at their other wedding venue, Hidden Have Farm House and Gardens, she reccommended a tent be put up over the ceremony and reception, and when we were not able to afford the tent over the reception they offered Delightfull Inspirations Ballroom as an alternative for the reception at no extra charge to us, free shuttle service between the two places for our guests, and went above and beyond our expectations. Anne, Richard, and their entire staff turned the ballroom into something so romantic and beautiful, it is beyond words, and we truly feel blessed and lucky to have come into contact with such wonderful and honest people. It may have rained that day, no let us rephrase it poured that day, but the sun was shining in our hearts and our spirits that day, and we owe a big part of that feeling to the owners and staff of our venue. If you decide on a venue, you will be lucky and blessed to book with this wonderful and lovely group of people and your day will be as wonderful as ours was. Our wedding/reception was held at Delightful Inspirations and it was a truly magical day. We wanted a retro look and Ann and her staff worked with us to make it happen. My mom, sisters, and I worked with Ann and the staff for about a year in panning the wedding. They could not have been more flexible and accommodating. My sister, my wedding planner, lives out of town and they would let her come and look at arrangements and make plans with them whenever she was in town. They totally worked around her schedule rather than us working around their schedule. They worked with us for the perfect table arrangements, flowers, menu, and cake, just about everything. They don’t charge for every little detail (linens, china, etc) like most places do. There were no hidden costs at all. Shortly, after planning the menu I was hospitalized as a result of food allergies. They quickly worked with me to revise the menu and even served me a special plate at the reception so I knew that nothing contained anything that I was now allergic to. They were so accommodating in working with me and made me feel so safe and comfortable. The night of the ceremony, Ann was wonderful. It was in the high 90’s that day and she let our guests stay inside until the ceremony was about to start, so I could have my outside wedding without having to worry about the guests being in the direct sun too long. The reception was wonderful and the food, the drinks and the service was terrific. There was not a hitch the entire night. The DJ that they recommended was wonderful and kept the activities flowing. My parents loved that they could enjoy the wedding/reception without worrying about any details that night. Their staff took charge of everything from the time we arrive to the time we departed. The night could not have been any better. I highly recommend this place – it will leave you with a wonderful wedding and reception to remember.

I would like to begin by saying that Delightful Inspirations is a Beautiful Reception Venue and the Ceremony Garden is absolutely gorgeous. Delightful Inspiration provides all your wedding needs in one place form linen, tables, chairs, centerpieces, napkins, and catering. All we had to outsource was our dj, cake, and wedding coordinator. We think Jason did an excellent job in answering all of our questions and making sure we stayed in our budget. He was very responsive to all our emails and he was very professional. Since Jason has left the company (2 months prior to our wedding date) management has gone down drastically. The new staff (Shannon) is unorganized and very unprofessional. They claimed we had 47 extra guests that showed up to our wedding but couldn’t prove it and emailed us on our honeymoon!!!!! They ran out of food because they allowed our guests to serve themselves and they tried to overcharge us on our payment. We met with the owner Ann who was for the most part understanding and Thank God we were not charged anything extra. We have had many issues with this venue and they deserve a lower score but Jason is the only thing that saved them. May 22 Bride

I just got engaged not to long ago and started looking at different places. When my friend called up there and asked how much it would be just for the ceremony and also stated that due do money that it needed to be under a certain amount the owner Ann say no worries that she is always willing to help people. After my friend stated to her that I just had open heart surgery a year ago she said that we could use her house for the ceremony, but ask us to come in and look at pictures. When we got there to look at the pictures everything had changed. Ann wanted me to know what it took to put on a ceremony which I know!! Then Ann told me that I could have my ceremony at Caspar's Delightful Inspirations but wanted to make it very clear to me that I would have to be there 30mins berfore the ceremony and after the ceremony was done that all my guest would have to leave right a way. I thought to my self I have waited for the right person and I not going to be rushed through one of the most important days of my life. Thanks Ann but NO THANKS ANN for not keeping your word. SAY WHAT YOU MEAN & MEAN WHAT YOU SAY!!!!

Jason Casper was a pleasure to work with while planning our wedding. He responded to our millions of emails of questions quickly and was very flexible with working with us when we came into town. Jason was very helpful in assisting us with cutting costs with the wedding. Everything was included, center pieces, linens, food, drinks, waitstaff, ceremony in the gardens. All we had to take care of was a DJ, photographer, coordinator, flowers, and officiant for the ceremony. During the wedding Jason made sure that everything was going as we wished, if we needed more food, drinks etc. The food he made for the reception was delicious! Amazing service and cooking from Jason. Thank you so much for making our night, a night to remember! On another note, the last we heard D.I. is now under new management and Jason is no longer working there. We had a scare 2 days before our wedding day with this new management. The contract stated that we were to give our final payment and number of guests 10 days prior to the wedding date and our estimated total would be adjusted accordingly. We had over estimated the number of guests so we had over paid on the final payment. When questioned about receiving that money back, we were told that they didn't do refunds, but that we could "upgrade" the services that would equal the over paid amount. This is NOT what we wanted and it was NOT in our contract, which we pointed out and did receive our money back. Please, please, please make sure that you read your contracts carefully, ask questions up front, write everything down and save all your emails and responses you receive.With that being said, D.I. is still a beautiful venue and a good value for the price.

Delightful Inspirations was definitely delightful! It is family-owned and they really care about your event! They were really nice and provided excellent food for my wedding! I would definitely recommend Delightful Inspirations for your catering needs, as well as a space to hold your event!

We had a very unique wedding with several different components. Jason and his staff were incredibly flexible and made everything flow smoothly. They went way above and beyond to make our day special.

It was a pleasure to work with Jason and his staff. They are professional, friendly and will do everything an anything to accommodate you and your guests. We used DI for our ceremony and reception. The gardens were beautiful and made our ceremony special for us because my husband and I are outdoor people. The reception room is spectacular. The layout and décor is perfect and you can create so many looks to reflect your personality. Overall service was great. The food is excellent. Jason takes pride in what he does and that shows. Our wedding was perfect in all ways and we owe all that to DI and their staff. We knew from the first time when we met Jason and his mother that this would be the place for our wedding and we have no regrets. They made us feel welcome and special in all ways. In our book DI is an A+

I had my wedding on June 7, 2008 at Hidden Haven Farm in Apex, NC. I was an out of town bride and Jason and his staff made it so very easy for us to make changes and additions with no fuss. The home was beautiful and my special day was one I will remember for the rest of my life. We had use of the rooms in the home and the grounds which were impeccable. In my mind, when I pictured my wedding day, Hidden Haven was exactly what I pictured. Outdoors, quiet and classy. I cannot thank Jason and family enough for everything they did for us. It was perfect.

I am so glad that I picked Delightful Inspirations for my wedding. It was perfect. We used the outside garden for the ceremony and the pictures afterwards were amazing because the garden was so pretty and the inside was just as beautiful. It is very large which appealed to me because I had been to so many weddings where I was cramped. The catering was delicious. Overall, it was an awesome experience and I would recommend it to anyone!

DI was awesome to work with ... the food was great. The staff was awesome. We couldn't have asked for a better venue for our reception! The garden outside provided some great photos. The staff at DI was also able to recommend a wonderful florist!
