This is my final avenue with Beautifully Elegant. I have exhausted all other possibilites, and I am only writing this review to warn other brides about dealing with them. Your wedding is supposed to be a happy time in your life, and this company has caused me nothing but stress. My bridesmaids and I went into the store on a Saturday to order dresses. All of my girls except 1 were sized on this day. All of the sizes sounded way too big for the girls, and we mentioned this to the clerk. She explained to us that the sizes run small, and we would be better off getting dresses too large than too small. On this day, we gave her all of our information and left. On Tuesday, I returned with my last girl. She tried on the size 10 sample in the store. It zipped up to the top, except by an inch. The clerk measured her and sized her in an 18. I told her there was NO WAY this girl could be an 18 when she just almost fit in a 10. She needed a 12. The girl would NOT order her a 12, she only went down to a 14 after I continued to tell her an 18 was WAY TOO BIG, AND I made this girl try on a 14 I found in the store. It fell off of her. Might I mention that if you get a dress in an 18 or 20, it is an extra $35 charge per dress. She had now sized 3 of my 4 girls in that category (2 of them in a 2 when they CLEARLY did not need a size that large). She's bound to make commission. She also told us on SATURDAY that there was a $50 charge per dress for rush shipping. When we got in there and were paying on TUESDAY, she charged me $75 per dress. (She had also told me on Saturday that I had to pay the rush shipping to get the dresses in time for my wedding when, in fact, I had plenty of time. On Saturday as well, she told us that there was NO extra charge for larger sizes, and on Tuesday it was $35 per dress.) When we were paying the girl, she told me that if I ordered over $200 in their store (which my bill came up to well over $1,000 for 4 dresses that were $144.18 including tax), I could automatically get the dresses shipped to my house. I live out of town and told her that would be my best option. She had me write my address down. When the dresses came in, they were shipped to the store, and we had to PICK THEM UP. She never even shipped them to my house. ALL OF THE DRESSES were WAY TOO BIG on the girls. We are having them all altered. One, in particular, is so big that it is costing us MORE THAN THE DRESS IS WORTH to have it altered. They are having to cut 8 INCHES out of the dress and are totally having to re-structure it to even make it look right. We called the store about 8 times between us all trying to get in touch with the owner and go over the clerk's head. (She was totally unwilling to talk with us about our issue or give us the owner's phone number.) Finally, I was able to get in touch with the owner by having her call me. She is refunding our $35 for the plus size on this ONE DRESS, and she will do no more. Please save yourself the hassle of dealing with this company. If you like a dress that they have, just find it somewhere else. You will be SO glad that you did. Dealing with them has been a nightmare. I took another bride with me who has 8 bridesmaids. She found a dress in there that she would like to get for her wedding, and now she is looking elsewhere for a vendor of this dress.

The sales associate who did the measurements ordered my dress in a size 20. I usually wear a 12 and understood that dresses can run small, but she refused to order a 14, a 16, or an 18 saying she felt like a 20 would be better. I asked her specifically not to order one that big but she said it was policy because they could be altered more easily if they were too big. When I tried on the dress, it was much too big. I zipped it up and could easily let if fall off me, literally without unzipping it. I called to talk with her about it and she said "all sales are final" and I would have to get it altered BUT they do not do alterations. The price quoted me for alterations from someone she referred me to was "about $100.00 since the dress is three sizes too big". I asked to talk with the manager, and the sales associate said I could email her but would not give me her name or email address and would not even listen when I tried talking to her. She said, "I don't feel good today and I can't talk to you about this because you're being rude." I was not being rude, I simply wanted to ask a question that she would not let me ask. So I will ask it now. I understand that dress sizes can run small. But why go from a size 12 to a size 20? And then when you refuse to order it in a smaller size as I requested, why not accept responsibility for helping me get the dress to fit (reorder? alteration?) PLEASE DO YOURSELF A FAVOR, KEEP LOOKING FOR YOUR WEDDING APPAREL. DO NOT GO TO BEAUTIFULLY ELEGANT.

I ordered the dress based off of my measurements, but the neckline was way too big. I had to have it altered 2 inches! And I never have a problem with not "filling out" the bust area in a gown. This was the most oddly fitting dress in the bust area that I have ever encountered. Everything else about the dress was amazing.

When looking for bridesmaids dresses as the Maid of Honor I knew the price was something that was very important to the bride. She found a dress that was perfect but a bit pricey. We looked online and Beautifully Elegant had the same dress but at a much lower price. I called to verify that the dresses would be in on time, which they were able to confirm and when I ordered the dresses, I got free shipping which makes everything even better!

The associates were very helpful! I placed my order online, but I wasn’t sure what size to order because there were no stores in my area that carried the dress I needed. When I called the store, they walked me through the measurements and were very patient and professional. I received updates via email every time something happened such as when my credit card was processed, when the order was received by the manufacturer, when the dress was shipped from the manufacture, ext. Beautifully Elegant made everything very easy. The price also could not be beat! Thank you so much BE!!!

I purchased a bridesmaid dress from Beautifully Elegant and was very disappointed with the dress and the service. Based on the sizing chart listed on the website, I ordered a size 2. The sizing chart stated that a size 2 should be a 32 inch bust (which is my bust measurement). When I received the dress, the bust was two inches too small. The dress had a 30 inch bust, not the 32 that was mentioned on the sizing chart. The industry standard is a 32 inch bust for a size two and when the bride contacted the salon, they stated that 32 inches is the standard. I also contacted the store and they stated that they do not offer any exchanges or refunds. I feel that when Beautifully Elegant grossly misrepresented the sizing on the chart, they should offer some fair solution to the customer. A wedding is an important event and to deal with a bridal salon that does not offer flexibility when situations like this occur is unacceptable.

The dress was received when I expected (although I'm not sure why a dress ordered on Dec 28 would take until Mar 28...I guess that's the way things are done in "wedding world"). However, when I took the dress to be altered, I noticed a stain! Why would there be a stain on a newly made dress that took 3 months to make? Very interesting... Luckily, I was able to remove the stain, but only with additional cost to me.

Bridesmaid dress came in on time and exactly as described. Just by sizing chart online ordered a size to large, but was easily tailored.

I ordered the dress in Jan 2010 and was told if any issues I would be able to return it. Well I ended up losing 20lbs in between ordering and receivng the dress and of course they then told me no refunds allowed. Not to mention the dress looks like it was sewn together with less than perfect materials as there is pilling all throughout the dress. I now have a less than perfect dress that is to big that I will never be able to wear! The reason I ordered it from this site is that they told me over the phone I could return it as long as alterations were not made and well was lied to

Overall, I was very happy with my dress and thats all you can really ask for. I would have liked the staff to be a little more informed and willing to out of their way. But my dress was perfect in the end, so I would recommend this vendor.

I believe that the dress was extremely over priced for the quality I received. I pay $260 for a simple strapless dress that was poorly made. I had to actually cut some seams and resew to get the back to lay flat. I had a question about shipping fees so I called the store. The sales clerk on the phone told me to email customer service. I never received a response. I was very disappointed with the service I received. I would not recommend this company to anyone. There are more professional companies with better products that cost less. I would keep looking.

This was my favorite vendor. I found Beautifully Elegant online when shopping prices for my bridesmaids dresses (we selected an initial dress, which I paid 50% of for all the girls- but wound up changing the theme of the wedding and changing the dresses). I didn't want the girls to pay any more out of pocket, but with wedding expenses rapidly adding up, I didn't have much to work with to get new dresses. I bought the girls' dresses for nearly $75 less per dress than local dress shops were asking. I also got FREE SHIPPING! I had 6 bridesmaids, so that was a total savings of $450-- hence why this is my favorite vendor! I was really skeptical at first when I came across their website- I couldn't find ANY reviews for this vendor online (only yellow page listings)! However, the vendor was listed as a Better Business Bureau member. I looked up the listing on the BBB website, verified that they were actually a longstanding BBB member, and that they had no complaints and decided to go for it. The woman I spoke with at Beautifully Elegant was terrific. My maid of honor found out she was pregnant in the midst of the dress switch, and I was worried about what size to order as she'd be 6 1/2 months pregnant at the time of the wedding. The woman at Beautifully Elegant spoke to me for nearly 30 minutes on the phone about sizing and how to select the right one to order. She gave me advice about tailoring for the dresses and was just terrific! The dresses arrived 3 weeks earlier than anticipated via FedEx to my door. TOP NOTCH SERVICE, EXCELLENT PRICE, #1 VENDOR! I highly recommend this vendor to anyone else- if you are worried about trying them, call Beautifully Elegant and speak to the woman who owns it. She obviously knows what she is talking about and will put your mind at ease!THANK YOU BEAUTIFULLY ELEGANT!
