Ashley Cakes

Cake was delicious! Ashley was very responsive, helpful and fun to work with. She helped us get a delicious and beautiful cake that fit our budget. Guests absolutely loved it!

I can't say enough nice things about Ashley Cakes! Ashley created a cake that was exactly what my husband and I wanted, even though we made an alteration to our design a few weeks before the wedding. She also incorporated flowers from our florist into the cake on site with no fuss! We had a "hidden pillar" design where spaces were left between the layers of cake for the flowers, and Ashley did this for a fraction of the cost that another bakery we went to would have charged. All of the flavors that we tried at our tasting were delicious, and we had TONS of compliments from guests about how our cake was not only beautiful, but also tasty! My husband and I can't wait to get our anniversary cake from Ashley!

Our wedding cake was one part of our wedding day that we looked forward to the most; we were not let down, that's for sure! Our cake was beautiful... it literally took my breath away. We chose a carrot cake with a cinnamon cream cheese filling and a vanilla cake with chocolate and vanilla filling (it alternated). Ashley did a great job. Our cake was moist and delicious.

I couldn't have been happier with my wedding cake! Ashley and Josh are awesome, and their cakes taste and look amazing! I wanted a complicated paisley design in gold, and they executed it flawlessly. I met with about 6 other bakers, and Ashley's cakes were the best, and I had the most confidence in their ability to execute the design. Their prices are comparable to other bakers (and slightly lower than some). If you've set up a consultation with Ashley and Josh, look no further - you have found your wedding cake maker. I wish I had saved myself the time and met with Ashley and Josh first!

Ashley and her husband Josh were really great through the whole cake selection process. Unfortunately, my husband had to miss the cake tasting for work but she was more than happy to schedule another so that he wouldn't miss out. I got so many compliments on how great the cake tasted and looked of course. My five tier was covered in butter cream that was layered on so smooth that I was able to ditch the fondant that I thought I would have to pay for in order to get the same look. Really amazing vendor!

Ashley was incredible to work with and the cake was absolutely delicious! It was gorgeous too, she knew exactly what I wanted and definitely delivered. I highly reccomend her to anyone in need of a wedding or any special occasion cake. Thanks so much Ashley!!

The cake was delicious, but very plain looking. Besides the cake toppers which we provided, there was no color on the cake and the flowers designated to be arranged onto the cake were simply laid on the table beside it. It just was not impressive looking for how expensive it was.

All Ashley's reviews are 5 stars - and all the superlative comments are exactly what we experienced! We cannot expound further on the greatness of this husband/wife team. Suffice it to say we were impressed with the taste of her fillings and cakes, with her ability to draw the design our daughter described, and then to execute the design to perfection! Delicious and exquisite! A perfect cake for a perfect wedding celebration! Thank you Ashley and Josh!

Ashley and Josh were very easy to work with. We knew after our initial meeting that we would be working with them, as no other vendors compared to them. Ashley designed our cake during the cake tasting and we were sold! We received so many compliments on our cake's design and taste. Ashley & Josh the dynamic duo team of husband and wife provides exceptional customer service. I changed my mind so many times on the design and the flavor/fillings for the cakes. They were eager and readily accepting of any changes I had. The cake design and the taste was absolutely perfect. I will be using Ashley Cakes for any cakes that I may need in the future!!!!

The wedding cake was not only beautiful and elelgant, it also was the best wedding cake we have ever tasted! All of our guests commented on how unique and delicious the cake was.

Ashley (and her husband) are great people. She is very creative and was able to put together the perfect cake from all the ideas that I had given her. My husband and I went to 11 cake tastings and Ashley's cakes were truly the yummiest of them all. We loved her flavors and fillings, as well as the flexibility of designing the cake. Each of my tiers consisted of two different cake flavors and fillings. Price wise, she ranged in the middle compared to the other vendors we saw (well worth the money)! Our cake turned out to be more than I have ever hoped for and many of our guest commented on how good it tasted.

Ashley did 2 cakes for me - the groom's cake and the wedding cake. The groom's cake was awesome. The wedding cake - even better. She did an amazing job and it tasted fabulous. We actually wished we could've taken leftover cake with us on our honeymoon.

Ashley and Josh are great!! They are super nice and genuine, and so much fun to work with. They let me do two separate tastings and drew out a sample design of my cake based on my input. When I saw my cake at the reception, I was so happy because it was even more beautiful than I had imagined! Plus, a lot of my guests were saying it was the best wedding cake they had ever tasted! I also loved that they can work within your budget by making a smaller wedding cake and then using sheet cakes, which look exactly the same as the wedding cake when cut (4 layers and all!). I was so happy and thankful that I chose Ashley Cakes! THANK YOU!

I was so impressed when my husband and I met with Ashley that I went ahead and wrote her a check for the deposit on the spot. She actually DREW a picture of what we were picturing for our cake, instead of just giving us samples to taste and have us moving along in 10 minutes. She also ended up doing our grooms cake for the rehearsal dinner which the design was a surprise for myself. Her cakes are ABSOLUTELY delicious. I've been to so many weddings at which the cake looks great but doesn't taste so great. Hers are so moist, her icing and fillings are never overpowering, and let me tell you, that cake lasts! We have the left overs in our freezer and I'm about to take out a piece because this review is making me hungry! Ashley is extremely flexible too. We actually did an additional tasting with her and tweaked our design a bit becuause we had a very long engagement and couldn't remember what flavors we liked. Something else she did that I really admired was to come see me on my wedding day. She came upstairs at the venue just to say hello! You can tell she truly cares about her clients! I received SO many compliments on the appearance of the cake AND how it tasted; I was extremely satisfied with Ashley and Josh's services- they are a great team!!

After only a few minutes of talking, Ashley had sent me pictures of the cake that I envisioned. Our wedding cake was beautiful and we received many compliments on both the look and the taste. We went with the "tuxedo" cake which was both chocolate and strawberry cake in the same slice and it was a hit. I would highly recommend her cakes to anyone.

Ashley was great to work with. The first time we met I was able to verbally tell her what I was looking for and she was able to draw it out right then and there with colored pencils and it was amazing. We used her for the rehearsal dinner and the wedding cake, and we had constant compliments on how wonderful the cake was. Ashley and her team were very thorough and made it all exactly what we wanted and better!
