Amanda Olson is a true artist - we were thrilled with both our engagement and wedding pictures! She does a fabulous job not only capturing all of the details, but also the emotion of the moment. We are so thankful she was a part of our special day - without Amanda (and her lovely assistant) we would have missed so much! (Plus we have stunning wedding photos that we will treasure for years to come) We 100% loved every part of working with Amanda and look forward to continuing the relationship in the future!Without a doubt one of the most talented (and fun) photographers in the area!

Amanda was an amazing photographer! Not only were our pictures beautiful, but she was so easygoing and positive to work with. Our friends and family all commented on how she had the ability to be everywhere capturing all of the moments of our wedding without being intrusive or interfering with the flow of the day. Additionally, she was so flexible in working with my ever-changing schedule and actually arrived at our wedding an hour early to sneak in a bridal shoot with me. AND BEST of ALL, since travel was involved in our wedding, she arranged to also shoot our rehearsal dinner (for free!!!) and provided us with an amazing DVD of images from that night as well as the wedding! We are so pleased and impressed with her work and she could not have been more fun to work with.

Amanda has been an amazing photographer to work with. She is very attentive and helpful to any question/concern that I had. I would reccommended her to anyone who is getting married. Her photos were exactly what I wanted for my wedding.

Amanda was very professional and still so friendly and flexible! We had specific requests regarding the contract and she worked with us. We could not have asked for a better photographer. When her car was damaged by the storms, she drove another car to an event in a massive multiple tornados-was early and didn't even tell anyone of her own damage/ troubles until much later when asked. I'd recommend her without hesitation. In fact, I already have. The final product revealed details not even noticed by participants during the events.

Amanda is amazing! She is so talented and you can tell she loves what she does. Our pictures turned out amazing. I would recommend her to everyone, she is truly the best and couldnt be happier with everything she did for us!

At very close to the last minute, I was still going back and forth about photographers, but I finally decided to go with my gut. It's wonderful to make such a huge decision and be left with no regrets at all! From the first meeting, she showed an impressive level of energy and attention to detail and made me feel like she had a genuine interest in my big day. I was hesitant to do bridal photos, but she made me feel extremely comfortable. The photos from the bridal shoot and the wedding were gorgeous, full of color and emotion. The only negative was the way people were grouped in some of the posed shots weren't even, but I didn't mind it too much because it still looked good. I also appreciated the little extra things she did for me, which showed a sign of her investment in each client.

Amanda was just wonderful. She came down from Raleigh for our wedding in Charleston. She even stayed and did a day after session with us at the beach. She was able to capture the fun and candid moments throughout our big day. Our pictures came out so beautifully. Everyone has admired them. With a July wedding outside, I especially appreciated that she had scoped out the venue beforehand and knew exactly where we should go to take the pictures. We had a total of fourteen people in our wedding party, so this was crucial. I would highly recommend Amanda to anyone who is looking for a photographer that has the experience and talent to know exactly when to take a picture to capture perfect moments.

Hiring Amanda for our wedding was the best thing we did. Our venues, flowers, dress, etc., none of it matters if you don't have a great photographer. From the very beginning she was very easy to work with. I could ask her about anything. She welcomes creative ideas and/or criticism. The only thing I wish was that we'd had more time between the ceremony and reception to take more couple shots. With Amanda's help/flexibility, we ended up deciding to get only the DVD of images with full rights to duplicate them. No prints. We found that to be the most economical for us. We plan to create an album some day, but having that cost on top of everything else at the time was too much. Now having seen all our photos, I know without a doubt that Amanda was the best photographer for us. She gave us a nice mix of traditional family shots and (as so many people keep telling me) "artsy" ones...all of which I love. She is without a doubt, worth every penny.

From the first meeting with Amanda, from the way she presented herself, to her ease of conversation and genuine caring about us as clients, our wedding pix were the best I've seen!She stayed in touch with us to guide our experience into a flawless procession of images that people are still talking about... She was "invisible", and the total perfectionist! The materials she presented to us made our choice of binders effortless, and the images were certainly treated with love...We recently had a beautiful baby boy, and Amanda's love for photographing babies brought her to us again one year later (this year), to take gorgeous images of this blessed event!!!I am a DJ that also does weddings, and have done so for over 39 years... I could not have been happier with Amanda Olson Photography. On a day where so many things are happening all day long, I never had to worry about our pictures. In fact, most of the time, I wasn't even aware of her being there - she was never intrusive, but somehow she managed to be everywhere! When we saw the proofs, we were completely blown away. Her work was so beautiful, artistic, and creative, and she caught many small, intimate moments that we would have never seen otherwise.
