Grace Wepner, Harpist

Harpist, Grace Wepner is available for professional bookings, including weddings, receptions, special events, church and school performances, and harp presentations for clubs and/or civic groups. Grace attended Converse College's Petrie School of Music in Spartanburg, SC, graduating with a Bachelor's degree in music/harp performance. She previously studied music at the North Carolina School of the Arts. As Principal Harpist of the Converse Symphony Orchestra, Grace performed with the Spartanburg Festival Chorus, Converse Opera Theatre, Converse Wind Ensemble, and Converse Chamber Singers. Grace has performed in famous performance venues throughout the United States and Europe, including Carnegie Hall, St. George's Church, Lincoln Cathedral, and Liben Castle. She is also the recipient of numerous national, state, and local talent awards, including a preliminary talent award at the 2008 Miss South Carolina Pageant for her harp performance of "You Raise Me Up". She placed as 1st runner-up to Miss South Carolina 2008. Grace enjoys her career as a professional harpist, performing solo, chamber, and orchestral music for audiences throughout the Southeast. Grace also teaches private harp lessons in Greensboro, serving the areas centered around the cities of Greensboro, Winston-Salem, and High Point. She also teaches harp lesson in Newton, North Carolina.
